Foil dividers and resistor networks make it possible to develop precious standards for voltage and current sources with long-term stability of 0,001% per year and temperature coefficient ratio as low as 0.5 ppm and better. In addition, foil dividers and resistor networks can be used in high-precision scaling amplifiers and ensure the gain error of the amplifier being less than 0,001% per year.
Resistor networks and voltage dividers structurally represent a modular block where a next following resistor serves as a cover for its predecessor. The resistors are connected in series with specially designed terminals. The last resistor is closed with a common cover.
